A woman died early Saturday, Feb. 29, when she was struck by an eighteen-wheeler on the 5 Highway in San Juan Capistrano, the California Freeway Patrol stated.
CHP Police officer Pete Kim stated private investigators believe the lady quit her vehicle on the right shoulder and went out before being struck. Kim said it was not instantly clear why the female quit. She was pronounced dead at a health center.
The collision was reported at concerning 3:30 a.m. south of Camino Capistrano. Officers initially encountered a jackknifed huge gear in the center divider, obstructing the left three lanes, before discovering the hurt woman.
The female was not publicly identified.
