Update: Marital problems cited in husband stabbing wife in the head with a meat cleaver in Garden Grove apartment

GARDEN GROVE– A male visited a fire station Tuesday morning and told authorities he killed his better half in their apartment or condo, however when authorities responded they found her stabbed in the head, but alive, and also their youngsters unharmed, authorities claimed.

Around 6:45 a.m., Thang Van Nguyen, 46, visited the Garden Grove Fire Department, 11301 Acacia Parkway, beside the Police Division and told authorities that he killed his better half, police Lt. Bob Bogue said.

Nguyen was restrained before he took police to his flat in the 12700 block of Flower Street.

“Policemans located his spouse, Huong Nguyen, stabbed in the head with a big meat cleaver a number of times, however she was still mindful,” baseding on a police declaration.

Garden Grove Fire Division paramedics went to the home at 7:20 a.m. and took Huong Nguyen to UCI Medical Facility in Orange terminally ill.

The house is about 1.5 miles from the fire and police terminals.

Cops claimed their 7-year worn out child experienced the assault. Their 19-year-old was residence but did not see the stabbing.

“The case took place due to marital troubles the couple were having,” Bogue stated.

Thang Nguyen was detained on uncertainty of tried murder.
