Retail-restaurant roundup: Newest Dunkin’ opens Tuesday; Ghirardelli Chocolate now at Downtown Disney; Ono Hawaiian BBQ debuts

Fresh & Easy: As expected, Fresh & Easy filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection as part of its plan to exit three states, including California.

Ice Rink: The Irvine Spectrum Center has opened its 47-by-72-foot ice rink. The rink will remain open until Feb. 15.

Ghirardelli Chocolate Co.: Downtown Disney is jumping into the holiday shopping season by adding pop-up retailers such as Ghirardelli Chocolate Co., which opened a temporary store Tuesday.

Ono Hawaiian BBQ: Hawaiian barbecue restaurant Ono Hawaiian BBQ made its first foray into Orange County recently, opening spots in La Habra and Buena Park. The La Habra store at 1350 S. Beach Blvd. opened in August and the Buena Park store at 8309 La Palma Ave. opened a couple of weeks ago.

Vitra Eyewear: Just in time for the Black Friday shopping rush, Vitra Eyewear will open its first location at South Coast Plaza the week before Thanksgiving. The store will be located across from the Apple Store.

Dunkin’ Donuts: Orange County’s third Dunkin’ Donuts shop is slated to open Tuesday in Westminster. It also will be the last one to open this year, with more coming in 2016, the company said. The Westminster store is located at 15482 Goldenwest St., is in a former 76 gas station.
