One dead in early morning car crash in Garden Grove

GARDEN GROVE —– Police police officers are investigating the reason for a single-vehicle auto accident very early Saturday early morning, Sept. 30, that left the driver dead, authorities said.

Law enforcement agent as well as firemans were sent off at about 3 a.m. to the junction of West Road and Chapman Opportunity for a traffic accident. At the scene, they located a silver Toyota SUV rolled onto its roof covering, Sgt. Patrick Gildea said in a news release.

A preliminary investigation found the Toyota was taking a trip northbound on West Road when it clashed with a light post. The crash created the vehicle to flip over. A male passenger was expelled as well as the male vehicle driver was entraped within the automobile, Gildea stated.

Firemans extracted the motorist from the car. He was required to UCI Medical Facility where he was later obvious dead. The passenger is expected to endure, Gildea stated.

Neither man was determined by authorities

Authorities are continuouslying examine the reason for the accident. Witnesses are being asked to contact Garden Grove authorities for any details they might have.
