Man with prior DUI faces second-degree murder charge for alleged drunk-driving crash that killed 6-year-old Fullerton girl

A 53-year-old Anaheim male with a prior drunk-driving sentence was accuseded of second-degree murder on Wednesday for a claimed drunk-driving crash that killed a 6-year-old girl in Fullerton last week.

Maximino Lagunas Delgado’s blood-alcohol level was nearly three times the legal limitation at about 2:14 p.m. on Saturday when he blew up of his Toyota 4Runner on Gage Opportunity and drove onto the walkway, eliminating Elegance Aguilar while she was outdoors playing, authorities claimed.

Delgado continued driving on the sidewalk prior to crashing right into a parked vehicle, police claimed.

Court records show that Delgado has a prior violation conviction for dui in 2015 in Buena Park. He was sentenced to three years of probation and was gotten to finish a first-offender alcohol program.
