Man arrested in San Clemente in seemingly random Carl’s Jr. stabbing in Riverside

Greater than a week after a male was stabbed outside a Waterfront Carl’s Jr. in what seems an unwarranted attack, a suspect has been apprehended about the assault, authorities said.

Cops investigators identified the enemy as David Mario Martinez, 48, of Waterfront, and also on Wednesday morning Orange Region sheriff’s officials arrested Martinez in San Clemente, inning accordance with a police declaration released on Facebook. Martinez is accused of striking, then stabbing a random complete stranger outside the Carl’& rsquo; s Jr. at 3370 La Sierra Ave. in Waterfront’& rsquo; s La Sierra South community on the evening of Aug. 15, according to authorities. The target fled and ran into the dining establishment to request for assistance while Martinez took off on his bicycle.

Police claim Martinez came to be dismayed with staff members inside the restaurant simply prior to the stabbing.

Authorities state the opponent as well as the target did not know each other.

Paramedics took the injured man to the health center. He was expected to survive. His existing condition is unknowned.
